Denali Firmware Update

Denali firmware update

This page has the latest firmware for the iVUE Denali camera glasses, and the steps to install it. The update takes about a minute and you only need a microSD card and a computer with a card reader.

Current version: V20

In the iVUE Denali app, the Firmware line (home screen or About) reads V1.30A-20 once V20 is installed. Any earlier firmware reads plain V1.30A.

Download the Denali V20 firmware — FW675AGD.bin (2.8 MB)

V20 needs the iVUE Denali app version 1.1.5 or newer for the clock to be set correctly — the app sets the glasses' clock every time it connects.

What V20 fixes and changes

  1. The time and date stamp on the video is 12-hour with AM/PM (for example 2026/09/03 03:43:27 PM) instead of 24-hour.
  2. Long-pressing the WiFi button switches resolution again (1080p to 2K and back). On the previous firmware the indicator light changed colour but the recording stayed at 1080p. Expected side effect: the glasses start recording when the mode switches — press the control button once to stop. WiFi-connect auto-record stays fixed.
  3. The WiFi network name is iVUE Denali, matching the printed manual. The password is 12345678.
  4. The app can identify the firmware version (V1.30A-20).

How to install it

  1. Copy FW675AGD.bin onto the root of the glasses' microSD card — not inside any folder. A card reader on a computer is easiest.
  2. Put the card back in the glasses and power them on. The glasses update themselves and restart, which takes about a minute. Do not power them off during the update.
  3. On your phone, open WiFi settings and connect to the glasses' network. After the update it may be named iVUE Denali; the password is 12345678. You may be asked for it once.
  4. Open the iVUE Denali app and connect. Check Settings — clip length, date stamp and resolution may have returned to their defaults, so set them the way you like.
  5. Confirm the update: the app's Firmware line reads V1.30A-20.

If the glasses do not update

  • Check the file is named exactly FW675AGD.bin.
  • Check it is at the root of the card, not inside a folder.
  • Check the card is formatted FAT32.

Recordings made before the update keep their original time stamps, names and dates.
