Do Denali and Glide stabilize video?
No, not in the camera. They record your raw view, and iVUE Video Enhancer steadies the footage afterward, on your Mac, for free.
How does stabilizing work?
In two passes. The app first studies the camera motion across the whole clip, then renders a new, steadied copy. Your original file is never changed.
Which strength should I use?
Start at 5, the recommended default for most clips. 1 to 3 is a light touch that keeps more of the original motion. 8 to 10 gives maximum smoothing, but crops in noticeably more.
Why does the clip look cropped in after stabilizing?
Smoothing zooms in slightly to hide the shake, which trims the edges. Lower the strength to keep more of the frame.
How long does stabilizing take?
The first pass depends on the clip length and your Mac, because the app studies the motion across the whole clip. After that, a new strength reuses the analysis and re-renders in seconds.

No. iVUE Video Enhancer runs only on Macs with Apple silicon.
What formats can it open?
MP4 and MOV, in H.264 or HEVC.
Can I adjust the look myself?
Yes. Besides Auto Enhance and the eight looks, there are live manual sliders for light, color and detail.
